Montreal Improv is located in a mixed-use building, and certain types of events can naturally carry a lot of bass.

To preserve a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere for everyone—and to avoid noise complaints—we ask that all renters follow these guidelines:

• Commitment: The renter agrees to keep sound levels, especially bass, at a reasonable and balanced volume.

• Good Faith: This clause is not a punishment, but a preventative measure to ensure your event runs smoothly for all parties involved.

• In Case of Complaints: If a neighbor contacts the police, a noise violation or fine could be issued. Any such cost will be the renter’s responsibility.

The goal of this clause is to prevent issues before they arise and to help everyone enjoy a great night.
