BRIAN PALERMO
We’re thrilled to welcome Brian Palermo to Montreal!
Brian is an actor, writer, and comedian who has been deeply immersed in improv for over 30 years as a performer, director, and instructor. He is a former member of the world-renowned The Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles, alongside alumni such as Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Coolidge, and Maya Rudolph. He was also an original cast member of their long-form improv show Crazy Uncle Joe Show.
Brian credits improv as a key foundation of his on-screen work, with appearances in shows like Friends, Modern Family, and The Tonight Show, as well as films such as The Social Network and Daddy Day Care.
As an improv instructor, Brian brings decades of experience through his company, Palermo Improv Training, where he teaches storytelling, emotional connection, and communication skills to performers, corporate teams, and professionals across industries.
Brian describes his teaching style as “encouragingly critical”, meaning you’ll experience fun and support, all while getting the kind of feedback that helps you grow and sharpen your instincts as a performer.
He’s beyond excited to be in Montreal and can’t wait to create some great scenes with all of you!
