Parallel Worlds
In Parallel Worlds you’ll dive into the art of interconnected storytelling. Inspired by the intricate structure of the novel Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, this class challenges you to create multiple scenes that span across time and space, linking characters, plots, and themes in unexpected ways.
Through dynamic scenework, you'll build fully realized characters in diverse formats and genres. Each scene will be tied to another through clever, surprising links - maybe a character from a past story leaves behind a piece of art that inspires a future generation, or an invention in one time period affects the profession of a character in another.
