Narrative Starts

Much of the important work in a longform narrative set is accomplished in the very first scene. This two-hour class will focus on those opening minutes, giving students an opportunity to run the beginning of numerous narrative sets with one of Montreal Improv’s fantastic faculty.

Prerequisite: Some longform narrative experience is required.

Note: This is an in-person class conducted in a private theatre space near the intersection of boul. Saint Laurent and ave. des Pins. Registrants will receive an email with instructions on where to go a few days before the class begins.

Safety requirements: Masks - worn over the nose and mouth for the full duration of the workshop - and distancing are mandatory, to comply with both public health measures and Montreal Improv policy.

2 hours / $20 CAD plus applicable taxes / ages 18+

Next session: Sunday, June 27th 12-2 PM EDT with James McGee
