La Ronde

Round and round we go! Step into the circle and discover the playful magic of La Ronde, a long-form improv format where characters weave in and out of scenes like dancers at a storytelling party. In this six-week class, you’ll explore how to build strong, engaging characters, create meaningful relationships, and play within a satisfying circular structure that’s full of surprises.

Each scene in La Ronde introduces a new character pairing, with each performer returning just once more, giving you the chance to build depth, play with expectations, and bring your character full circle (literally).

This format is perfect for improvisers who want to strengthen character work, practice grounded, relationship-driven scenes, and learn how to spot and support patterns and callbacks within a deceptively simple framework.
