Francois Vincent

Francois has over a decade of experience as a professional improviser. A founding member of Montreal's Without Annette Improv, he has performed in more shows and venues across Canada than he cares to count. He has co-produced four improv shows for the Montreal Fringe Festival as well as the trivia-comedy show, "The Follow-Up". He has appeared in improv festivals as far west as Victoria, BC and as far east as, uh, Rue Saint-Denis. Francois and Marc have also recently completed a teaching tour of Europe (London, Paris & Antwerp).

Trained by Keith Johnstone and members of The Second City among many others, Francois is excited to share the thrill of doing improv with anyone willing to learn.

Francois runs the Montreal Improv Blog which can be found wayyyyy over here. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Montreal Improv Festival.


Marc Rowland

Marc Rowland is hooked on the high that comes with spontaneous theatre. Since getting started with the Canadian Improv Games, Marc has trained and performed in regular shows in Montreal as well as London, England. He has attended the Loose Moose International Improv School in Calgary and performed in improv festivals across Canada and the United States. He also has a degree in Education from McGill University. Francois and Marc have also recently completed a teaching tour of Europe (London, Paris & Antwerp).

These days, Marc can be found in "The Bitter End" (now living as a new web series) and "Sunday Night Improv" at Theatre Ste-Catherine. He is on the Board of Directors for the Montreal Improv Festival.





B.J. Walsh

B.J. is the show director for Montreal Improv. Previously, he was the longest-serving member of Montreal's first long-form improv troupe, Without Annette.

B.J. has trained in Montreal and New York, and has performed at festivals across Canada and the US, including the Chicago Improv Festival in 2009, the Del Close Marathon in New York in 2010, and 7 Montreal Fringe Festivals. His most recent co-production was the 2010 Fringe hit METEOR (***** Hour.ca). He is also the perennial host and game-master of the McGill Improv Summit.












Kirsten Rasmussen

Kirsten Marie Rasmussen is a multi-talented performer. In Edmonton, Kirsten continued her dancing which started at the age of 7. She also began studying the art of clown in the Pochinko method, and eventually graduated with a BFA from the U of Alberta. Before leaving town Kirsten had toured through our great and vast country with Rapid Fire Theatre, winning competitions in Vancouver and Calgary, and winning hearts at such festivals as Vancouver International Improv Festival, Toronto's Combustion Festival and Montreal's own MPROV.

In Montreal, Kirsten is a regular at Theatre St Catherine's Sunday Night Improv shows. She has guested with On The Spot, Uncalled For and The Bitter End (live) for ZOOfest this past summer. She is also a trainer and judge for Canadian Improv Games. Kirsten loves to teach, loves to do, loves loves loves... Improv.










Anders Yates

Anders Yates is a founding member of the Montreal sketch and improv comedy troupe Uncalled For and is the co-host of the Montreal Fringe's late-night talk show, The 13th Hour. He has toured across Canada and the US with Uncalled For, and was a co-writer of the award-winning sketch comedy shows Thunderspank!, Blastback Babyzap and Today Is All Your Birthdays. Anders is also currently a dancer and writer for the comedy/dance troupe Dance Animal.
