What are people saying about our workshops?

Excellent teachers who clearly know what they are talking about.
I was surprised at how much I learned in just 4 classes!
The games and exercises we did were perfect for beginning. The lessons were pertinent to the improv world, and the real world! So much to take out of the class.
Improv nights are my favourite day of the week. What a perfect little community.
I think it is fantastic (and quite generous) that you offer students free admission to shows.

Skill Series: Our Stage Too

An Advanced Improv Intensive for Women, Women Identifying, and Non-Binary Folks

This workshop series created and taught by D.J. Mausner seeks to give space for women, women identifying, and non-binary folks who love improv and are interested in doing it at an advanced level, but find it difficult to excel in pre-existing spaces.

Over the course of four workshops, we will explore the obstacles we may face due to our gender, share our stories, and seek proactive solutions for these problems on and off stage. Further, each workshop will have a different focus rooted in bettering ourselves as performers. We will work on defining who we are individually as improvisers & what we bring to a team or show, sharing a stage and gaging when (and how) to assert yourself in a scene, group connectivity and being present (with guest instructor Amanda McQueen!), and refining formats and show premises and putting them into action.

Space is limited to 10-12 participants. All members must have completed Level 6 (Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the instructor. Send her a message if you're adamant!)
